The sandbar, a natural phenomenon<\/h3><\/div><\/div>\n\n

At low tide, a white sandbar connects the two islets. At high tide, it disappears beneath the water. The best time to photograph it varies with the tides.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The sea turtles of Nosy Iranja<\/h3><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Nosy Iranja is one of the main nesting sites for green turtles (Chelonia mydas) in Madagascar. Between May and October, the females come ashore to lay their eggs on the beaches. All year round, they can be seen swimming in the lagoon.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
