The Mozambique Channel is one of the richest marine environments in the Indian Ocean. Around Nosy Be, you may encounter whale sharks (Rhincodon typus), long-beaked dolphins, green turtles, and, from July to November, humpback whales that come to feed on plankton and give birth in the area. Our marine safari takes you to meet them in small groups, with a specialist guide who ensures a respectful approach to the species and their environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The world\u2019s largest fish. Harmless to humans. Found year-round around Nosy Sakatia and in the Baie des Russes. Swimming with whale sharks is possible depending on conditions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Dolphins - Several species<\/h3>

Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops aduncus) and long-beaked dolphins (Stenella longirostris). Sighting rate of over 80% on our trips.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
