A bay that remains wild and unspoilt
Located around 20 km from Nosy Be, Baie des Russes is surrounded by untouched mangroves and unspoilt natural landscapes.
An extraordinary history
The bay owes its name to an episode from the early 20th century, during the Russo-Japanese War. Part of the Russian fleet is said to have been stationed in the Nosy Be region, and then in this bay, awaiting orders.

Authentic fishing villages
The bay is home to just a few small villages of fishermen and farmers. It is a peaceful place, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and direct contact with nature and the local people.
